Anton Corbijn. The Living and the Dead.

„Regardless what is on the picture it should speak to you.“

„I’m not a perfect kind of approach of photographer, but I use always elements in my photographs that helps imperfection, because I think that imperfection feeds Humanity and the human soul.“

„People can connect to my work because it’s not the spectacular, the blown-up stuff, I don’t make people bigger than they are.“

„I was a really desperate teenager and did not know what to do with my life, so when I got hold of a camera I realized the possibility of connecting to the music world, I clang on to it for death and life, I wouldn’t let go and everything I did was to survive and make  that work. It was a survival story and disciplined me. And in this time I certainly was very narrow-minded only doing this.“
